Make sure to keep that in mind if you are buying this cooler for a specific location.[/vc_message][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

There are 7 pull out (and removable) chrome shelves. Each shelf is designed to hold 2 Bordeaux size bottles. This cooler also features interior LED lighting for easy viewing of your collection.

[/vc_column_text][vc_message color=”alert-block”]Something to note here – the unit shelving is designed to hold Bordeaux size bottles (2.75” wide  x  11.75 tall). The cooler can hold larger sizes, but it may require removing some of the shelving to accommodate which in turn may reduce the cooler capacity.[/vc_message][/vc_column][/vc_row]

This is a freestanding unit which vents in the rear. It is therefore recommended that unit have a few inches in the back and sides to vent. That is, it is not meant as a built-in cabinet unit or for tight enclosed places. The heat that this cooler produces is minimal, but it should have some room to vent.

I love this cooler. The all black with stainless steel trim along with the slim look is very modern/ contemporary. I like that fact that there are only 2 bottles per shelf (and that the shelves pull out for easy viewing). It fits nicely in many locations (kitchen, living room, bar) and is very quite.

Being a Thermoelectric Cooler, it is not idea for locations that have high ambient temperatures (not idea for rooms/ locations that are warmer than 75 F).

FEATURES

If you are looking for a mid-size cooler (18 bottles) that is slim and has a sharp look, then this is an excellent choice. The cooler is quiet and very energy efficient (just be sure to not put it in direct sunlight or a warm room as this will cut down on the efficiency).

If you do decide on this unit, there are a couple of instructions you should follow when you receive the unit. Knowing that not everyone follows directions and reads the manual, I will highlight a few things here.

When you receive the cooler, it is recommended that it sits upright for 2 hours before plugging it in (this is done to reduce the possibility of a malfunction resulting from handling during shipping). Also, it is ideal to get the unit to your desired temperatures before you start loading it with your wine.

Please feel free to leave any questions or comments below. We would love to hear your feedback. Especially if you have anything to add about this cooler.
